Local Photography Groups

The Frontera Film Photos Collective is the region’s only all-film photography collective. This group holds photo walks in El Paso and Juarez for film photographers of all kinds. In addition to film photography meet ups, the Frontera Film Photos Collective also organizes group photography shows for film photographers.

For three decades, PEEP has been dedicated to introducing and encouraging the enjoyment of photography as a hobby, a profession and an art form. PEEP has meetings on the second Saturday of every month in El Paso, Texas and publishes a monthly newsletter for both PEEP and the Doña Ana Photography Club. Meetings are often followed by lunch at area restaurants. PEEP includes both film and digital photographers. 

The Doña Ana Photography Club is a group of photographers and photography enthusiasts in the Las Cruces, New Mexico area. The club meets in person on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:15 pm and the third Tuesday of the month at 7 pm on Zoom. The club holds print contests and an annual photo of the year competition. The The Doña Ana Photography Club holds an annual boot camp for those interested in learning the fundamentals of photography. Both film and digital photographers are welcome! If you have a film camera and you’re not sure how to use it, bring it to a meeting or the boot camp!
